His research interests are in atmospheric pressure plasmas and applications, plasma biomedical applications, piezoelectric materials and devices, nanomaterials and artificial organs. 

 

Academic Highlights
Dr. Kim has published more than 170 peer-reviewed publications, 40 plenary and invited talks and 15 patents. He is a member of IEEE, AIAA, Society for Information Display, American Vacuum Society, American Physical Society and American Chemical Society.
